Recovered from a working condensor that was decommissioned for upgrading. Please excuse all dust and dirt from prior use. Note: Emerson changed the styling of the end cap for this motor at a point in time. In some cases the end cap will have a deer hoof pattern (see motor in first group of pictures) and others will have more of a smooth top pattern (see last group of picture).
The deer hoof pattern top includes bore holes in the side of the top which lead down to a wick material that is packed around the motors center sleeve bearing. In many cases the yellow caps that are used to plug these oil holes have their heads broken off flush with the wall of the motor.
You should still be able to remove the caps using an extremely small screw like the ones they use for eyeglasses. Screw it part way into the plastic plugs and then grab the heads of the screws and pull the plastic plug out. Code for internal use only: C1T4.
